{29 weeks}

After working in the yard/garden all day! Baby Bozarth is going to have a GREEN THUMB!

Look at that belly button.

How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: The dr. said I had gained only 13 lbs :) and 3 lbs. 4 oz is baby! He is measuring big.  The sono tech asked us if either of us were big babies....Uh Oh....... She said he is in the 68 percentile for growth.  Wow! He's a grower! Head and belly are measuring ahead to 30 weeks and legs measuring right on track at 29 weeks. He looked so sweet and cozy in there and was rubbing his eyes.  Tired boy.
Maternity clothes? not too many.  I own one pair of maternity skinny jeans that I love.  My co-worker on Friday said "How the heck are you still wearing skinny jeans...?" I had to laugh because they are my only maternity jeans and the only jeans that really fit without using the hair tie trick.

Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: Sleeping well, but still tired.
Best moment this week: I feel like we are getting so close to meeting our baby! Stroller ready to go and we finally got it on Friday! {SEE THAT POST HERE}, car seats are ready to go, nursery almost ready to go! I'm excited! Mama also did some shopping for herself yesterday.  It's about time.  I now have my dresses for both showers, and bought some clothes {not maternity} that I can wear now and later.  I bought this peach shirt that is just beautiful!

My mama and I also did some gardening/planting this weekend, which I love! After about $100 of plants and things {her and I both} we made some progress.  So pretty!

And as cheesy as it sounds, yesterday when I woke up I felt an overwhelming thankfulness for my husband and my puppy and our home and everything that we have been blessed with.   I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
Miss Anything? Wine :( Sangria - Mike and I had a date night at Lidia's by Union Station on Saturday night.  Everyone was drinking all sorts of yumminess..... :( The food was delish as always.  We got a pic of us just because I feel like we never get dressed up much anymore.  It was so much fun!

Movement: Oh yes, it was funny to see the sonogram and see where all the movement I feel is coming from. His butt is right up under my right rib cage, his little piggies are on my left side and his head is down.
Food cravings: Mac & Cheese, potatoes, SWEETS! As always my biggest weakness is sweets.  Mike made fun of me at dinner because I barely ate my meal, he said I was subconsciously saving room for dessert {which I did ironically eat all of.... }

Can't live without my tiramisu and decaf coffee. I mean baby B cant.......

Anything making you queasy or sick: some meat
Gender: Boy!
Labor Signs: No, I was getting some pain yesterday but it quickly passed.

Symptoms: Very tired, feeling stuffed, lower back pain
Belly Button in or out? OUT! I think it's cute :)
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY!
Looking forward to: Next weekend, just because it's the weekend...and my baby showers! May 5th - family and family friends and May 19th my friends shower.

{my weekend in pictures}

I had an absolutely wonderful weekend away from football with my mama at the lake.  We stopped in Cockrell, Missouri on the way down for their Annual Christmas Open House! Can you say cutest little town ever? The area we went had so many cute little kitchen stores.  I imagine it would be what Heaven looks like!!! My sweet mama bought me a nickel cake stand with beaded edges, it looks similar to my tray that I LOVE that's currently on the coffee table. I couldn't get a picture of it because it a Christmas present & she wouldn't let me take it out of the bag. Wink wink... :)

Christmas...which I love!

Yummy Damifino (Damn If I Know) wine --Madre decided she needed a case!

Cole Camp, MO

We made little homemade dog treats.  They were a BIG hit!

I hope you enjoyed my weekend in pictures, because let me just tell you...I did!

{Happy Friday!}

Yay!! Guess what day it is....FRIDAY! I love having weekends off! Plus having Jeans Friday's don't hurt.....

 After a whirlwind month of travel for both Mikey & I in August, we both felt like we hadn't spent enough time together....and we didn't like it.  We've been cooking {thanks to my friend Lauren at work. She is inspiring, as she & her hubby cook together every night & she's 6 months pregnant!} full-blown meals together and taking long walks with our fur baby & just spending some quality time together. I don't like not being with my hubs!!

Last night I made artichokes! YUM! My mama used to make these all the time when I was younger.  I can remember my aunt and cousin coming over and we would just devour the artichokes at our kitchen table! I made them not too long ago because my hubby is sort of a health nut & I thought he would like them...Well he LOVED them, so I made them again. It's so simple and filling, too.  I just do some olive oil with Italian breadcrumbs.  Cut the tips off the leaves with kitchen shears, spread out the leaves and pour as much of the olive oil/breadcrumb mixture as you can shove into the leaves. Boil some water and in go the artichokes for 30 minutes or so...and YUM! You will not be disappointed!

I also made time in the past couple of weeks to fix up my sad looking rain boots.  I got these in college and you can tell.  Yikes! These puppies have been through some muddy rain puddles in their lifetime. I can remember wearing these to the bar while it was raining, and splashing in every puddle...on purpose.  I believe there is a picture somewhere of it, actually.

I decided to make them a little custesy with some grommets and ribbon.  I returned the ribbon 3 times, because it wasn't the right weight.  It has to be a heavier weight ribbon to work and outlast the wear & tear and sometimes you can't tell just by looking at the roll.

Before
After {an iPhone pic of course}

This was the morning after our BAD storm! Notice our tiki torch nearly on it's side....
I made the holes with a grommet kit, it looks like that's the way I bought them, adorable. I also bought a gray ribbon with white polka dots for if/when I get bored of the red.

And guess what, I have worn them many times since this picture was taken & plan to wear them this weekend as I hear it'll be rainy.  Sometimes I don't mind those lazy, rainy weekends. I have no plans this weekend except for a baby shower on Saturday.  I'm thinking some nap time and some serious fall/winter shopping is in order!

I hope you all have a nice weekend!
